FIFA included Pele in the FIFA 100, a 2004 ranking of the finest active players. Pele was not listed among the top 25 players of the 20th century by the IIHF. In a survey conducted by the IFFHS, Pele was voted as the greatest player in the world in 1999, the best South American player in football history in 1992, and the ninth-best European player of the 20th century. The only player to have three World Cup victories is him.
